Formula One is an established garage since 1968 founded by Brian Stanners. Originally specialising in performance engines, tuning and servicing, and the preparation and building of Race & Rally engines for which we are renowned mechanical engineers in this field. In 1996 we moved to our purpose built facility in Albert Street, Newcastle upon Tyne. In 1997 we linked up with Lotus Cars to become the only Lotus approved sales, service and parts centre in Newcastle, Tyne & Wear, Teesside, and Cumbria. We have built a reputation for our customer service and are renowned for the quality of vehicles we sell, continuously having a superb selection of Sports, Performance and Executive vehicles on display.

The culture that Brian has developed over the years, as well as providing great value performance cars, focuses on customer care and satisfaction. The beautifully finished showrooms reflect this, providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where customers can relax, enjoy refreshments, browse the latest selection of stock cars and talk with staff. One particular aspect about Formula One is that sales staff are not commission based so there is no hard sell, sales and all staff at formula one aim to provide help and advice so that customers not only get the cars they are looking for but also the support and help they need.
